The Historic Community House
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Cornelia Community House is the perfect backdrop for your next indoor or outdoor event. As the largest of our city facilities, this newly renovated building blends historic character with modern convenience.
Features
Facility Highlights Spanning 2,500 square feet across two levels, the Community House offers ample room for up to 300 guests. The facility includes a full commercial kitchen for catering and an elevator for accessibility.
Please Note: All the fireplaces are non-functionable
Main Hall
- The Main Hall (60' x 40'): Spacious and bright, this hall is ideal for weddings, large receptions, or dances
- Atmosphere: Guests are greeted by a stunning stone-stacked fireplace in the entry hall. (Please note: While beautiful, the fireplaces are non-functional.)
Lower Level
- The Lower Level (60' x 40'): An intimate setting featuring walls made of local granite, heart-of-pine support logs, and laminated floors.
Occupancy
- The Community House has an occupancy of 300.
