Tour the Station
When to Schedule a Tour
It is preferred that station tours be scheduled 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday in order to best accommodate the firefighters daily schedule. Tours can be scheduled for the late afternoon hours for groups that only meet during this time. No station tours will be given on Sundays or after 7p.m any day. It is requested that all station tour requests occur at a minimum of one week prior to the desired date. Also, please keep in mind that the firefighters are on-duty during the tour and in the event of an emergency will have to depart quickly. Another tour can be scheduled, if necessary. Please send the following information:
- Name
- Organization
- Contact Person and Phone Number
- Date and Time of Tour
- Number of Kids and Age Range
- Number of Adults
- Any Special Request
Book a Tour
Groups can book a station tour by contacting Fire Marshal Chief Josh Hazle at jhazle@corneliageorgia.org. Station tours typically include:
- An inside look at the fire apparatus
- The tools that are used during a fire or other emergencies
- A demonstration of firefighter gear and how it is used
- Some general fire safety information is also typically covered
Station tours take between 30 minutes and 1 hour to complete.
