To assure that your garbage is picked up, you will need to make sure your garbage receptacle is placed on the street by 6:00 AM.

Holidays
The City of Cornelia shall observe the following as holidays. When a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the Holiday time will be Friday or Monday. Public Works services will be delayed/altered based upon the day of the week the Holiday is taken.

- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
